Food: Ramadhan Buffet 2014

On 25th July 2014, Bel and I along with one of our close friend went to Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) for the last day of the Ramadhan buffet dinner which was located at the main hall. All of the food was prepared by the Raintree Restaurant which is also located inside BCCK.

The hall was massive with over 150 or so tables laid out. The three of us had a table for eight all to ourselves.

We arrived at around 6.00pm and took our time looking at all the yummy food before digging in.

And so much more.. We dove in and took as much as we possibly could. I am sorry if the pictures didn't come out as appetizing as it should. We weren't thinking of how the pictures were going to turn out at the time.

The three of us all went about four rounds before waving the white flag. I personally loved the lamb. I thought it was really moist and succulent. Bel, on the other hand, preferred the roti canai. It was pretty good too. But there were some dishes which were not up to restaurant quality and was really disappointing.

Anyway, we are planning to go back again next year and hopefully they step up their game. Great effort and much respect to all the cooks and waiters.
